Braehead is easily accessible by road from the whole of west and central Scotland. Based at Junction 26 (eastbound) of Glasgow's M8 motorway, a new motorway junction (25a) provides dedicated westbound access roads direct to the shopping centre whilst the new eastern link road connects the A8 dual carriageway.

Public Transport

Braehead has its own dedicated bus station and Travel Information Centre with over 820 buses passing through the centre each day. To obtain information about buses to Braehead please call 08701 20 10 88 or check online at www.arrivabus.co.uk.

The nearest railway station is Paisley Gilmour Street where a number of bus services are available to connect to Braehead. Details of services can be obtained from the traveline on 0870 608 2 608.

ODEON Braehead is situated on the top floor of the Intu Braehead Leisure Complex. The cinema has 12 screens, (Premier Seats, IMAX, Ben & Jerry's) 6 ATMs which are located in the main foyer. Parking is available as part of the complex.

Local Facility

You can indulge yourself at our Ben & Jerry's ice cream counter which offers a variety of mouth watering flavours or tempt yourself with the usual round up of fantastic cinema food such as hotdogs, nachos and popcorn. There is also Pic N Mix available along with a variety of other sweets and chocolates or our bar area where you can choose from a wide selection of alcoholic drinks.

Disabled facilities

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Braehead is on the top floor of the Intu Braehead Leisure Complexx and can be reached via lift or escalator. The Number 747, 26, 502 buses stop right outside the complex's main entrance. The main entrance is approximately 150 yards from the lifts which are located inside in the middle of the complex.

There is parking as part of the complex with Blue Badge and Parent & Child parking spaces.

The taxi and car drop off point is at the front of the building.

Access To The Cinema
The access to the main entrance of the cinema is by lift, escalator or stairs. There is level access to the box office, refreshments stand and ticket machines. There is a lowered counter available at the box office. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

There is a guest seating area to the right of the main entrance.

Male and female washrooms are situated just behind the main foyer, with two fully accessible washrooms located towards the entrance of Screens 2 and 8.

Access Within Screens
All of ODEON Braeheads Screens are fully accessible with Wheelchair bays available. All have stadium seating with aisles on each side which have access to handrails. Due to the stadium styled seating the Wheelchair bays for all Screens are near to the front of the auditoriums on the flat seat section; access to all seating further back is stepped. Screen 1 is the IMAX Screen.

Screens 2, 3, 4, 6, 2, 9, 10 and 12 have two single Wheelchair bays, with Screens 1, 5, 7 and 11 with four single Wheelchair bays. All Wheelchair bays do have adjacent companion seating. All of the Screens have multiple removable seats that are available on request.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are situated just behind the main foyer, with two fully accessible washrooms located towards the entrance of Screens 2 and 8.
