Location Of Cinema
ODEON Canterbury is located on the high street at St George?s Place. The local bus station is approximately 100 yards away. There are two train stations nearby; the first is Canterbury West and is approximately a five minute walk away, the second is Crab and Winkle Way, a fifteen minute walk.

The nearest car park is the pay and display car park on Dover Street, it is run by the local council. It is situated at the rear of the cinema with limited Blue Badge holder spaces. The walk to the cinema from the car park is via a side access road, adjacent to the cinema building; there is a drop kerb.

The nearest taxi and car drop off point would be on Dover Street at the rear of the cinema near to the Dover Street car park; drop off is not suitable outside the cinema as this is a busy main road.

Access To The Cinema
Access to the cinema is via two push/pull doors and one automatic door, activated by push pad just to the side. Please be aware that there is a small step before the entrance of around two inches high.

There is level access to the box office, refreshments stand and ticket machines, however, currently there is no lowered counter at the refreshments stand. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

The first floor is not accessible to Wheelchair users or those with limited mobility as there is no lift service. Access to the first floor is via two flights of stairs with access to handrails.

There is limited seating outside of Screen 1 on the first floor. A customer seating area is available outside Screen 2 on the ground floor.

Male and female washrooms are located on the ground floor within the main foyer, with a fully accessible washroom adjacent to the entrance of Screen 2.

Access Within Screens
Screen 1 is not accessible to Wheelchair users or those with limited mobility as there is no lift service. The Screen can only be accessed via two flights of stairs with access to handrails. A small seating area is available at the entrance to the auditorium.

Screen 1 consists of a front section and a back section, both sections are stepped. The front section is split into two blocks, with an aisle down the middle and an aisle at either side. The two side aisles have handrails, the centre aisle does not. The back section is divided into three blocks, with an aisle at either side of the centre block. There are no side aisles as the outer blocks go right up to the walls. There are no handrails on the aisles.

Screen 2 is fully accessible with no need to use a lift. It consists of one block with an aisle on each side. Both sides are stepped but do have handrails. There are four double Wheelchair bays at the back of the Screen with complete level access. Companion seats are available with each wheelchair bay.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are located on the ground floor within the main foyer, with a fully accessible washroom adjacent to the entrance of Screen 2.
