Location Of Cinema
ODEON Colchester is in the town centre on Head Street, adjacent to the high street and next to the Turner Centre. The area is completely accessible for all guests. There are three bus stops with a large number of bus services, which stop either directly outside the cinema or within 50 metres of the cinema entrance.

The nearest car parks are the St Mary?s and St John?s car parks; these are both council run and paid via the car parks ticket machines. They are both approximately a 5 minute walk away. Each car park is fully accessible with limited Blue Badge parking spaces. The nearest Blue Badge parking spaces are across the street outside of Debenhams; please be aware that these will be very limited during busy hours.

The taxi and car drop off point is on the opposite side of the road to the cinema, with a pedestrian crossing very close by.

Access To The Cinema
The access to the main entrance of the cinema is on street level with automatic doors. The box office is directly to your right when you enter with full level access to the counter. To reach the refreshments stand there is a ramp to the left of the box office which leads through to Costa Coffee, or there are two steps down to the counter level. The ticket machines are also on this level opposite the refreshments counter. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

Guest seating is available within Costa Coffee just past the box office.

Male and female washrooms are located on the first floor, accessible via lift, escalators or stairs with handrails. There is a fully accessible washroom within the main foyer as well as a second on the first floor by the entrance to Screen 8.

Access Within Screens
All Screens at the ODEON Colchester are fully accessible. Screens 1 and 2 are accessible by a ramp, behind the ticket check. Screens 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are accessible via lift, escalators or stairs with handrails.

Screens 1 and 2 have two blocks of seating divided by a central aisle. There are 8 steps down to the front of each screen. Each auditorium has two single Wheelchair bays at the back of the screen with a companion seat for each.

Screens 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 all have stadium style seating with steps to the rear. There is also front flat block of seating where the entrances to the Screens are located. This is where all Wheelchair bays are situated.

Screen 3 and 5 are divided into two blocks by a central aisle which consists of 10 steps to the back row, there are no handrails available. Screen 3 has three singles Wheelchair bays with adjacent companion seating, whilst Screen 5 has just two single Wheelchair bays with companion seating.

Screen 4 and 7 has aisles on either side of the seating consisting of 14 steps to the back row; there are partial handrails available. Each Screen has two single Wheelchair bays plus companion seating.

Screen 6 is split into three blocks by parallel aisles consisting of 14 steps to the back row; there are no handrails. This auditorium has four single Wheelchair bays with adjacent companion seating.

Screen 8 is divided by a stepped central aisle with 12 steps to the back row; there are no handrails. Screen 8 has three single Wheelchair bays plus companion seating.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are located on the first floor, accessible via lift, escalators or stairs with handrails. There is a fully accessible washroom within the main foyer as well as a second on the first floor by the entrance to Screen 8.
