From Haymarket Train Station, turn right out the station and continue up Morrison Street for approximately 500 yards. The Cinema is located on the corner of Morrison Street and Lothian Road.

Buses available from Princes Street pass the cinema (No's 1, 10, 11, 15, 16, 24, 34). The N16 also offers a service after 1am. The 2 Service links via Prestonfield / Gyle to Morrison Street and the 35 Service links via the Airport / Ocean Terminal to Semple Street.

Local Facility

From all directions, follow signs for the City Centre. From Princes Street follow signs for the West End and turn up onto Lothian Road. The cinema is located 500 yards up Lothian Road on the right hand side.
No Parking available on site. NCP car park available on Morrison Street, approximately 100 yards from cinema entrance. The Sheraton Car Park Tower and Castle Terrace Car Park are other local alternatives.

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Lothian Road is located within Edinburgh city centre. There are dropped access pavements for crossings from Lothian Road and Bread Street. The cinema is well serviced by public transport from Bread Street approximately 25 yards away, Lothian Road approximately 50 yards away, Semple Street approximately 100 yards away and Morrison Street approximately 150 yards.

There is Blue Badge parking spaces nearby to the cinema on East Fountain Bridge, near Riego Street approximately 500 yards away.

The Thistle Car Park on Semple Street approximately 200 yards away, services the Scottish Widows building and parking for the general public. The car park has 198 parking spaces with no designated Blue Badge parking spaces. There is a lift, which takes you back to street level, with a ramp at the Scottish Widows building facing Morrison Street.

The Sheraton Car Park Tower can be accessed via the West Approach Road. It is located 0.3 miles from the cinema. Parking is available to both residents and the general public, subject to availability at busy times.

The Castle Terrace Car Park offers 750 parking spaces, including 6 Blue Badge parking spaces. The car park is around 0.3 miles from the cinema entrance.

There is no possible taxi and car drop off point around the cinema.

Access To The Cinema
The main entrance opens from two sets of automatic doors. The main foyer is all level access. Low counters for Wheelchair users are available at the Ben & Jerry?s Cafe and also at the box office within the main foyer. A lowered ticket machine is also available within this area. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

There is plenty of guest seating within the Ben & Jerry?s cafe or in the lower ground floor foyer.

Male and female washrooms are situated within the lower ground floor foyer with access via lift or stairs with handrails, these washrooms have one wide opening cubicle each. There is also a fully accessible washroom adjacent.

Access Within Screens
All Screens at ODEON Lothian Road are fully accessible with Wheelchair bays available. They are accessed via a spiral staircase with handrails or by lift, which runs from the far side of the main foyer down to the lower ground floor foyer.

Please be aware that there is a decent distance from the ticket check to reach Screen 4; it is the full length of the lower ground floor foyer and then through a ?Z? shaped passageway.

All of the Screens have a stadium style seating arrangement. Screens 1 and 2 are similar in size and overall layout with substantial seating in both upper and lower parts of the auditoriums.

Screens 1 and 2 have two double Wheelchair bays with adjacent companion seats located towards the front of the Screen. Each Screen is divided up into two blocks of seating by two stepped parallel aisles, with access to a single handrail. There is a front section to the auditorium where the Wheelchair bays are situated on the back row.

Screens 3 and 4 are similar in arrangement with most of the seating within the upper section of the auditoriums. The Screens are divided by two stepped aisles with access to a single handrail. There is a bottom seating section to the auditoriums where the Wheelchair bays are located within the centre. Each Screen has one double/two single Wheelchair bays with adjacent companion seating.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are situated within the lower ground floor foyer with access via lift or stairs with handrails, these washrooms have one wide opening cubicle each. There is also a fully accessible washroom adjacent.
