Driving Directions

On entering Exeter from any Direction, follow the signs for the city centre/bus station or princesshay shopping centre, Once you are in the centre of Exeter (at the bus station end of the high Street), Odeon Exeter is located on Sidwell street, just 400 yards up the road from Boots and Waterstones which are located on the corner of the top end of high street.

Car parking available at the King William car park which is situated close to the cinema - please check the car park notice sign for closing times.

Public Transport

Buses are frequent every ten minutes, the nearest bus stops going in/out of the city are located just outside the cinema. Telephone number for Local buses & times is: 01392 42 77 11 if you are coming from further away the main bus station is located 5 minutes down the road behind Somerfield

The nearest train stations are St James Park and Exeter Central, both of which are a short 10 minute walking distance. Trains run approx every 30 mins to the main Exeter Train Station (St David's Station) & other local destinations across Devon.

ODEON Exeter is situated on Sidwell Street. The cinema has 4 screens (Premier Seats) 2 ATMs which are located inside to the right hand side of the foyers entrance.

Local Facility

Sidwell Street offers a wide range of restaurants, shops and cafes, including; an Indian restaurant, Subway Sandwich and KFC.

Alternatively if you walk a further 10 minutes to the princesshay shopping centre (just off the high street) you will find various restaurants in this location.

The nearest ATM is situated next door to the ODEON outside Tesco Express.

Disabled facilities

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Exeter is located on Sidwell Street. There is a local bus stop just outside to the right of the cinema, approximately 10 yards from our entrance. The buses that stop are for journeys going towards Pennsylvania, Stoke Hill, Whipton and Pinhoe areas of the city, and out of town to Collumpton. The bus stop opposite the cinema operates services back towards the city centre. The nearest train station is St James? Park, which is approximately fifteen minutes walk away; this has trains to Exeter Central train station.

There is limited on street parking on Sidwell Street, alternatively the nearest car park is King William which is located approximately 500 yards away. This car park has around 20 Blue Badge parking spaces. There is an access route to take you to the car park from Sidwell Street, which is located next to Iceland. The nearest public taxi rank is located approximately 550 yards away, opposite Poundland.

The taxi and car drop of point is right outside the cinema entrance on Sidwell Street.

Access To The Cinema
The main cinema entrance on Sidwell Street has steps to the push/pull foyer doors.

Please be aware that there is no Wheelchair access for the main foyer and Screen 1 as there is no lift service; all stairs within the foyer have access to handrails. A bell is located to the right hand side of the cinema entrance for any guests requiring assistance to certain Screens or to the main foyer. If you need any assistance, please just ring the bell and a member of the team will come and help you.

The ticket machines are located inside to the right hand side of the foyers entrance; there is access to a lowered counter at the box office and refreshments stand. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

There is currently no specified guest seating available within the cinema.

Male and female washrooms are located within the corridor to the Screens, with a further set of male and female washrooms within Screen 4 itself; these toilets have a step leading into the washrooms. A fully accessible washroom is situated by the entrance to Screens 2 and 3.

Access Within Screens
Screen 1 is not accessible to Wheelchair users or those with limited mobility as there is no lift service to the Screens entrance; access is only via a staircase which does have handrails. The auditorium has stadium style seating, with aisles dividing the Screen up into separate blocks. These aisles are stepped backwards to the rear of the auditorium, with approximately thirty steps to the very back row. The aisles have handrails available.

Screens 2, 3 and 4 are fully accessible via our outside Wheelchair access. Please ask a member of the team for more information by ringing the bell outside the cinemas entrance. Each Screen has level access, with just a slight incline to the floor en route to Screens 2 and 3. Access to the Screens has handrails available inside and outside the building.

Screens 2 and 3 consist of one block of seating with two sloped aisles either side of the seats, both auditoriums have one double Wheelchair bay located at the rear of the Screen and close to the auditoriums entrance. There are companion seats next to each Wheelchair bay.

Screen 4 has two steps to get into the Screen. Alternatively it does have its own ramp entrance which leads you down to the two single Wheelchair bays located towards the back of the auditorium. Companion seating is available on the right hand side of the Wheelchair bays. The seating is divided by a main central aisle which slopes down towards the Screen.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are located within the corridor to the Screens, with a further set of male and female washrooms within Screen 4 itself; these toilets have a step leading into the washrooms. A fully accessible washroom is situated by the entrance to Screens 2 and 3.
