Driving Directions

The ODEON is located on the junction of East Parade and Station Avenue. When approaching Harrogate from any direction first follow the signs saying town centre, then look for the railway station signs. The railway station is in Station Parade immediately adjacent to the bus station. Once you have passed the railway station, turn first left at the traffic lights on to Station Bridge, the Odeon is then in front of you on the far side of the roundabout.

The main railway and bus stations are in Station Parade which runs parallel to East Parade- the street in which the Odeon is situated.

ODEON Harrogate is situated just outside the town centre. The cinema has 5 screens (Premier Seats) 1 ATM which is located in the main foyer.

Local Facility

The ODEON is located on the edge of the town centre, with easy access to restaurants, shops and cash machines etc. There is a council pay and display car park at the rear of the cinema. This is free to guests after 6pm if you display a parking permit available from the box office

Disabled facilities

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Harrogate is located just outside the town centre on East Parade, approximately 200 metres from the back entrance of Harrogate train station. A bus stop is situated approximately 100 metres from the entrance of the cinema on Station Avenue, serviced by the Number 1a, 1b, 1c, 77 and 770 buses.

A pay and display council run car park is at the rear of the cinema, which is free after 6pm if you display a permit obtainable from the cinemas box office. The car park has three Blue Badge parking spaces.

The taxi and car drop off point is directly outside the cinema within the staff car park, this may be very busy during business hours.

Access To The Cinema
The access to the main entrance of the cinema is stepped to three push/pull doors or sloped with use of a set of automatic doors. There is level access to the box office, refreshments stand and the ticket machine. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

Guest seating is available within the main foyer, and also outside the entrances to Screens 1 and 2 on the first floor. Please be aware that these are very limited during busy hours.

Male and female washrooms are located within the main foyer and also on the first floor outside the entrances to Screens 1 and 2. Screen 5 has a set of washrooms with the auditorium itself, down towards the fire exit. A fully accessible washroom is situated on the ground floor within the main foyer.

Access Within Screens
Screens 1 and 2 are not accessible to Wheelchair users or those with limited mobility as there is no lift service; access is only via a staircase which does have handrails. Both Screens are stadium style seating with a central stepped aisle dividing the seats into two blocks, there are no handrails within the auditorium. There is limited seating outside of the Screens entrances at the top of the stairs.

Screen 3 consists of a central block of seats with aisles down either side; there is access to some handrails. The auditorium has on single Wheelchair bay at the rear of the screen. Companion seating is available alongside the space.

Screen 4 has a central aisle and is accessed down three stairs with a handrail for the first two. There is a Wheelchair lift for access to the Wheelchair bays at the front of the auditorium. There are two double Wheelchair bays, both with adjacent companion seating. If you need any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

Screen 5 is accessed down a small flight of stairs, the same used to access Screen 4, with access to handrails and a Wheelchair lift. There are three blocks of seating divided by two parallel aisles. The Screen has four double Wheelchair bays, two at the rear of the centre block of seats and two at the rear of the right block of seats. If you need any assistance, please ask a member of the team.
