We are within the complex The Printworks in the city centre surrounded by the roads; Corporation Street, Withy Grove, Dantzic Street and Hanover Street.

Car parking is available in the NCP Printworks (above the Shudehill interchange) which is adjacent to The Printworks. Parking is chargable at NCP rates however, we offer discounts at certain times in the evenings if you visit the ODEON. The ticket validation machine can be found on the ground floor, on the right as you enter, between the 7 self-serve ticket machines.

Public Transport

Buses from North Manchester run directly to the city centre stopping at the Shudehill interchange opposite The Printworks.

Buses from South Manchester run directly to the city centre stopping at Piccadilly Gardens bus station a 7 minute walk from The Printworks.

Rail services from across the UK run to Victoria (2 minutes) and Piccadilly (15 minutes) Stations both a short walk from The Printworks.

Metrolink Tram services stop at the Shudehill station opposite The Printworks.

ODEON Manchester Printworks is situated in the city centre. The cinema has 23 screens (Premier Seats, IMAX, Gallery, Costa, Ben & Jerry's) 10 ATMs which are located at the front of the cinema entrance and in the main foyer.

Local Facility

ODEON Manchester is situated within The Printworks which is central to the heart of Manchester adjacent the Arndale Shopping Centre, The Corn Exchange and The National Football Museum (previously known as Urbis). Within The Printworks there are various popular restaurants such as the Hard Rock Cafe, Wagamamas, Nandos, Cafe Rouge, Wasabi, Papa G's, Harvester, Henry J Beans, Prezzo and Chiquitos along with bars/pubs such as Lloyds, Waxy O'Connor's, Tiger Tiger and Norwegian Blue. We also have a COSTA coffee shop within the ODEON open until late.
The nearest cash point is within The Printworks.

Disabled facilities

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Manchester is part of the Printworks retail complex within Manchester city centre, situated next to the Manchester Arndale Centre.

The Printworks is adjacent to one of the main city centre bus interchanges, with further bus stop available to the rear of the cinema on Corporation Street; these stops service multiple bus services across the city. Shudehill Metrolink tram station is also close by, approximately a three minute walk from the cinemas entrance.

The nearest car park is an NCP car park located on Shudehill, approximately two minutes walk away. The nearest Blue Badge parking is outside the Printworks complex main entrance, with more Blue Badge parking spaces located further up Dantzic Street; please be aware that these parking spaces may be limited during busy hours.

There are two train stations situated close to the cinema; Manchester Victoria is approximately two minutes walk away, with services to the majority of more local towns and cities. Manchester Piccadilly train station is a fifteen minute walk through the Manchester Arndale Centre, or around ten minutes by tram.

A taxi rank is also available behind the cinema on Corporation Street.

Taxi and car drop off is possible all around the cinema, with the best points being on Dantzic Street and Corporation Street; please be aware that there are double yellow lines throughout the local area.

Access To The Cinema
Once inside the cinema there are escalators running up and down from the third floor, as well as one lift giving access to all five floors, and another designated for the Gallery on the fifth floor.

The cinemas entrance within the Printworks has a gentle slope to the foyer doors. These are automatic. Once inside the foyer there is level access to the box office and arcade, automatic ticket machines are located towards the cinema entrance. All floors within the cinema are level, including access to the refreshments stand, Costa Coffee and the Gallery bar area. Lowered counters and ticket machine are available for Wheelchair users. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

There are numerous guest seating areas throughout the cinema, including seats within Costa Coffee on the first floor and also in the Gallery bar area located on the fifth floor. This is only accessible for Gallery ticket holders.

Washrooms are available throughout the cinema. The first floor has a set of male and female washrooms with two adjacent fully accessible washrooms between the entrances to Screen 1 and Screen 2 to 7. The second floor has a male washroom located in the foyer, and a female and fully accessible washroom by the rear entrance to Screen 1. Male and female washrooms are located at the end of each corridor on the third floor, with a fully accessible washroom situated towards the entrance to Screen 15.

Gallery washrooms are situated next to the Gallery bar, with male and female washrooms located at the top of a flight of stairs and a fully accessible washroom at the bottom.

Access Within Screens
All Screens at ODEON Manchester are fully accessible with Wheelchair bays available; access to all floors is via escalators, lift or stairs with handrails. Screen 1 is the IMAX Screen and is located on the first floor with Screens 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. A secondary entrance to the rear of Screen 1 is available on the second floor. Screens 8 to 20 are situated on the third floor. The Gallery bar and Screens are all located on the fifth floor, which is accessible via the lifts or stairs with handrails.

All Screens have single blocks of seats with stepped aisles either side. Handrails are available on the nearest aisles to the entrance of each screen. The Screens have stadium style seating with stepped aisles; due to the nature of the stadium seating, some Wheelchair bays are located at the front of the auditorium and some at the back; rear entrances to auditoriums are available.

Screen 1 has four double Wheelchair bays at the back of the auditorium for optimum viewing. Access to the rear of Screen 1 is on the second floor accessed via lift or escalator.

Screens 2 to 10 and 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20 have four single Wheelchair bays at the front of the Screen.

Screens 11, 12, 13, 17 and 18 have Wheelchair bays available at both the front and the back of the auditorium, giving the option for preferred viewing position. Screens 11 and17 have five single Wheelchair bays at the front, with one single Wheelchair bay at the back. Screens 12, 13 and 18 have two Wheelchair bays at the front and back.

Screens 21, 22 and 23 are the cinemas Gallery Screens. All these Screens are located on the fifth floor and are accessed via lift or stairs with access to handrails. Each Screen has a double Wheelchair located at the back of the auditorium for the best viewing experience. There are handrails available throughout the Gallery area.

All the Wheelchair bays at the ODEON Manchester have adjacent companion seating.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Washrooms are available throughout the cinema. The first floor has a set of male and female washrooms with two adjacent fully accessible washrooms between the entrances to Screen 1 and Screen 2 to 7. The second floor has a male washroom located in the foyer, and a female and fully accessible washroom by the rear entrance to Screen 1. Male and female washrooms are located at the end of each corridor on the third floor, with a fully accessible washroom situated towards the entrance to Screen 15.

Gallery washrooms are situated next to the Gallery bar, with male and female washrooms located at the top of a flight of stairs and a fully accessible washroom at the bottom.
