Location Of Cinema
ODEON Magdalen Street is located just off Oxfords busy high street, opposite the church of Mary Magdalen.

The nearest bus stop is situated directly outside the cinemas entrance, with more bus stops located at the top of Magdalen Street on St. Giles Road. The city?s bus station is just down George Street operating main bus routes all over the city; it is approximately a ten minute walk from the cinemas entrance. All of the city?s Park and Ride buses have stops less than five minutes walk from the cinema.

Underground car parking is situated at the top of Georges Street, approximately a five minute walk from the cinema. Additional on street car parking is located on Beaumont Street at the top of Magdalen Street, this is where the nearest Blue Badge parking spaces are, approximately three minutes walk from the cinema; these may be limited during busy hours.

Taxi and car drop off is possible directly outside the cinema on Magdalen Street, but please just be aware that drop off may not be possible at all times because of the regular bus service that operates outside the cinema.

ODEON Oxford Magdalen Street and ODEON Oxford George Street are located less than five minutes walk from each other.

Access To The Cinema
The main entrance to the cinema is level with automatic doors. The main foyer is level access with lowered counters available at the box office, refreshments stand and within Cost Coffee. There are lowered ticket machines available within the foyer. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

Guest seating is available on the ground floor within Costa Coffee, situated within the foyer just to the right of the main entrance.

Male and female washrooms are located on both floors; one set on the ground floor towards Screen 1, and a set upstairs just outside Screen 1?s circle and Screen 2. A fully accessible washroom is situated on the ground floor towards Screen 1.

Access Within Screens
Screen 1?s circle and Screen 2 are not accessible to Wheelchair users or those with limited mobility; they are situated on the first floor, with access to these areas via stairs with handrails only. Please be aware that there are no handrails within the Screens.


Screen 1 is divided into the ground floor stalls and the first floor circle. The stalls are divided by two parallel sloping aisles, separating the seats into three blocks. The circle has a front and back section with stepped aisles. The stalls are fully accessible, with four Wheelchair bays situated at the back of the auditorium with adjacent companion seating.

Screen 2 is a smaller auditorium with sloped aisles down either side of the seats.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are located on both floors; one set on the ground floor towards Screen 1, and a set upstairs just outside Screen 1?s circle and Screen 2. A fully accessible washroom is situated on the ground floor towards Screen 1.
