Driving Directions

ODEON Sheffield is located in the city centre, opposite the Crucible and Lyceum theatre on Arundel gate.

If travelling by car into the city follow signs for Ponds Forge & Theatres. There is an NCP multi-storey car park next to the cinema for which Odeon Guests can obtain a reduced rate please ask at the box office for details.

From the train station cross over to the bus interchange where the cinema is clearly visible, from here there is a stair way leading up onto Arundel Gate.

The cinema is just a short walk away from Castle Square tram stop. If you require any further information, please contact the cinema direct.

Public Transport

There is a new Bus interchange on Arundel Gate directly opposite the cinema which is regularly serviced by local routes.

In addition, the cinema backs on to Pond Street Bus Station, which is the major bus terminus in the city, and the train station can be found a short distance away.

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Sheffield is situated along Arundel Gate within the city centre. The cinema sits directly opposite to the Crucible Theatre situated within Tudor Square. There is a bus interchange on Arundel Gate directly opposite the cinema which is regularly serviced by local bus routes; approximately two minutes walk from the cinemas entrance. Sheffield train station is not far from the cinema either, approximately 0.6 miles or a six minute walk.

An NCP multi storey car park is adjacent to the cinema where ODEON guests can have their car park token validated for a reduced price; there is a reduction £3.30 for a four hour stay. The car park also has Blue Badge parking spaces. Ramped access is available from the car park to the entrance of the cinema.

Taxi and car drop off is not available outside the cinema; the road outside the cinemas entrance is used by cars exiting the NCP Car Park and by buses at all times.

Access To The Cinema
The access to the main entrance of the cinema is level with push button automatic doors. There is a ramp leading into the main foyer for access to the box office and retail areas. There is level access to the box office, refreshments area and ticket machines. A lowered ticket machine is available for Wheelchair users. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

A guest seating area is situated within the foyer opposite the games arcade, with more seating available on the first floor outside the entrance to Screen 3.

Male and female washrooms are available on all floors; on the first floor outside the entrances to Screens 1, 2 and 3, on the ground floor by the entrances to Screens 4 and 5, and on the lower level outside Screens 6 and 7.

Fully accessible washrooms are also available on all floors; on the first floor adjacent to other washrooms, on the ground floor opposite Screens 4 and 5, and on the lower level to the rear of Screen 10. The fully accessible washroom on the lower level can be hard to find, so if you do need assistance, please ask a member of the team.

Access Within Screens
All Screens at ODEON Sheffield are fully accessible with Wheelchair bays available. Screens 1, 2 and 3 are located on the first floor with access via a lift or stairs with handrails. Screens 4 and 5 are situated on the ground floor, level with the cinema foyer. Screens 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are on the lower level, accessed via stairs with handrails or by the lift and then via a short corridor behind each of the auditoriums.

The auditoriums have some steps within the aisles, which do not have to be navigated by Wheelchair users. There are no handrails available.

Screens 1 and 3 consist of three blocks of seating separated by two parallel aisles. Both Screens have two single Wheelchair bays to the rear of the auditorium.

Screens 2, 4 and 5 have one central aisle dividing the seats into two blocks, there are also aisles either side of the auditorium next to the walls. Each Screen has two double Wheelchair bays at the back of the auditorium.

Screen 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 have two aisles either side of the seats, and one central aisle dividing the seats into two blocks. The Wheelchair bays in these auditoriums are towards the front of the Screen. Screens 6 and 7 have two single Wheelchair bays, with Screens 8, 9 and 10 with two double Wheelchair bays.

All Wheelchair bays have companion seating available.

Location of Washroom Facilities
