Driving Directions

The Cinema is located on level 2 of The Chimes Shopping Centre Car park. Tickets are collected on entrance and paid on return at ticket machines located in the shopping mall exits.

If travelling from London (A40) toward M40 (Oxford) take the Swakely's roundabout exit slip road and take first left at roundabout (signed Uxbridge). Travel approximately one mile towards the Town Centre and at the first roundabout take a right turn following the signs for The Chimes. The Chimes and the Car Park entrance is on your left approximately 500 yards

If travelling from the M25 Junction 16 follow signs for M40 (Uxbridge) Junction 1. Take the slip road to roundabout and follow signs for Uxbridge Town Centre (approximately 1 mile). You will join a ring road with a series of three roundabouts, which have clear signage for the Town Centre Car Parks. At the 3rd roundabout take a left turn signed The Chimes and the Car Park entrance is on your left approximately 500 yards.

Public Transport

The Cinema is located in The Chimes Shopping Centre, right next to the tube station (Piccadilly and Metropolitan Lines) and the main bus terminal in Uxbridge town centre is within a 5-minute walk.

From the Tube Station entrance turn left and immediate left again to enter THE CHIMES Shopping Centre. Follow the shopping mall right through to the far end and then take the escalator to level 2 (Cinema entrance). In the event of the shopping centre being closed follow the perimeter of the shopping centre along the High Street until you get to the corner of Debenhams and the Hogs Head pub (on your left) turn left onto paved area to Cinema Entrance (Piazza).

ODEON Uxbridge is situated within The Chimes Shopping Centre. The cinema has 9 screens (Premier Seats, IMAX, Costa, Ben & Jerry's) 7 ATMs which are located in the main foyer. Parking is available at the Shopping Centre.

Local Facility

The cinema is located in the heart of the Town Centre of Uxbridge and has a licensed bar opened daily to ticket holders only.

The Piazza entrance from The High Street has a number of restaurants and bars including Auberge, Hogs Head and Pizza Express. Nando's, McDonalds and KFC are all located on the High Street, which run adjacent to the Shopping Centre.
Furthermore, there are a number of independent restaurants, pubs and bars within the vicinity that cater for all tastes. The Shopping Centre has a Guardino's Café and McDonalds located within it.

There is a cash dispenser located within the cinema and also in the Shopping Centre Mall (Level 1).

Many current and forthcoming film releases have a strong relevance to subjects covered in the national curriculum, provoking discussion and debate in an inspirational way. Location Of Cinema
ODEON Uxbridge is on Level 2 of The Chimes Shopping Centre located on the High Street. Local bus stops are situated along the High Street outside the centres entrance, with a bus station to the rear of the centre on Bakers Road; both these operate multiple bus services throughout the local area. The nearest tube station is Uxbridge which operates the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, also located on Bakers Road. A taxi rank is available directly outside the Uxbridge tube station. These are all approximately two minutes walk from The Chimes Shopping Centre main entrances.

The shopping centre has a 1600 space car park that has 50 designated Blue Badge parking spaces. The car park is located on Level 2, where the cinema entrance is located; further parking is available within the car park for permit holders only at specific times.

There is no designated taxi and car drop off point for the cinema.

Access To The Cinema
The cinema is situated on the second floor (Level 2) of The Chimes Shopping Centre with access to the cinema foyer from the car park and from the centre itself. Access to the second floor is via lift or stairs with handrails. The main cinema entrance from the car park has no doors and is open, with another entrance from the centre that has three push/pull doors. The cinema is all level access, including to the box office, refreshments stand, ticket machines and Costa Coffee. All kiosks have lowered counters available for Wheelchair users. If you require any assistance, please ask any member of the team

Guest seating is available just past the ticket check, with further seating available within Costa Coffee just to the left of the main entrance.

Male and female washrooms are past the ticket check towards the entrances of the Screens, with a fully accessible washroom located between the entrances to Screens 1 and 2. Another fully accessible washroom is located within the foyer and has access to baby changing facilities.

Access Within Screens
All the Screens at ODEON Uxbridge are fully accessible with Wheelchair bays available. The Screens have level access from the foyer. Each auditorium has a slight sloping entrance through double push/pull doors. The Screen have stadium style seating with stepped aisles leading towards the back of the auditorium; due to the nature of the seating, all Wheelchair bays are towards the front of the Screens. Screen 2 is the IMAX Screen.

Screen 1 has three blocks of seats divided by two parallel stepped aisles. There is a front level section of seats where the Wheelchair bays are located to the rear. Handrails are available on the aisles nearest to the auditorium entrance. This Screen has three double Wheelchair bays located at the rear of the front level section.

There are two double wheelchair bays at the front of each stadium seating section. Companion seating is available either side of the bays.

Screen 2 has three blocks of seats divided by two parallel stepped aisles; handrails are situated on the aisle nearest the entrance. The Screen has three double Wheelchair bays located at the front of the auditorium.

Screens 3, 4, 7 and 9 have one central block of seating with stepped aisles on either side; handrails are available on the aisle nearest the auditorium entrance. Screens 3, 4 and 9 have three double Wheelchair bays located at the front of the auditorium; Screen 7 only has two double Wheelchair bays.

Screens 5, 6 and 8 consist of one block of seats divided by a main central aisle. These Screens have no handrail available on the centre aisle. Each Screen has two double Wheelchair bays located at the front of the auditorium.

All Wheelchair bays have adjacent companion seating available within all Screens.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are past the ticket check towards the entrances of the Screens, with a fully accessible washroom located between the entrances to Screens 1 and 2. Another fully accessible washroom is located within the foyer and has access to baby changing facilities.
