Location

The ODEON Cinema Ayr is located in Burns Statue Square, opposite the train station at the top of the High Street. We are in the middle of the one-way system next to Blockbuster and Burns House.
Public Transport

Bus stops: Directly opposite 2x principal bus stops 0.1 miles. Various buses very frequent. Service usually stops between 10 and 10:30pm most days.
Train station: Directly opposite main entrance 0.1 miles. Trains run every 30 mins weekdays and Saturdays and hourly every Sunday. Last train usually around 11pm. Cinema films often programmed to finish on time to catch last train.
Driving Directions

Parking details - Limited spaces outside cinema, which is not free (payment via parking vouchers). There is also parking available at the nearby train station.
Local Facilities

Restaurants: As we are located in the middle of Burns Statue Square there are many local restaurants, pubs and fast food outlets to cover virtually any preference in very close proximity to our building. Examples include: Subway 0.2 miles, Starbucks 0.2 miles, Dino’s fish & chip restaurant 0.1 miles, Chinese 0.1 miles, Indian 0.1 miles and traditional food 0.1 miles.
Local Entertainment: 10 pin bowling & Laser Quest complex 2 minutes from the cinema down Miller Road. Swimming pool & full sports centre 1.1 miles from cinema at beach front. Children’s play area 0.7 miles from cinema on beach front.
Nearest cash dispenser: RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) less than 1 min on corner of Miller Road.
Disabled Facilities

All ground floor screens have wheelchair access(Screen 2: 2 spaces, Screen 3: 2 spaces & Screen 4: 3 Spaces). Disability toilet on ground floor. Automatic doors to the left of main doors and Box Office has one lower profile cash desk to allow easy access for wheelchair users. Regretfully no wheelchair access for Screen 1 upstairs due to building being classified as ‘listed.’
