Location Situated on Horsefair overlooking the Banbury Cross towards the top of the town. We can be found within a 10 minute walk from the train station via the main shopping high street. In addition, the main town is served by frequent bus services in and around the area. Pay and display car parking is available at the front of the cinema with a 2 hour limit, However this is free from charge and time restrictions after 6pm in the evenings. There are also a number of other council run pay and display car parks near by. From the M40: Leave at junction 11 following straight on until reaching the third roundabout. The Tesco store will be straight ahead as you reach this roundabout. Take the first exit and follow the road on through the next set of traffic lights. You will see the Whately Hall hotel on your right with the Odeon Banbury adjacent to it.

Public Transport The area is well served by railway connections, with four operators providing services in and around the area. Generally two trains per hour run between Bicester and Banbury. In addition, Banbury is a main line station served by London and Birmingham trains. These trains also stop at Warwick & Leamington Spa on route from Birmingham.

The town is served by a number of bus routes operating services between local towns and villages in the North Oxfordshire area. For more information call Stagecoach on 01295 253451

Driving Directions From the North and South Banbury can be found off Junction 11 of the M40 Motorway. From the exit continue straight until reaching the third roundabout. At that point you will see a large Tesco straight ahead. Take the first exit, carry straight on and through the next set of traffic lights. Shortly afterward you will see the Whately Hall Hotel on your right with the cinema directly next door.

The town centre has a number of pay and display car parks. Each have different tariffs but in the majority of cases tariffs cease after 6pm. There is also a large multi-story car park situated at the Castle Quay shopping center situated just off the main high street.

Local Facilities Local restaurants include Pizza Hut, various Chinese, Thai & Indian restaurants and a number of pubs including JD Wetherspons & the Chicago Rock Café. All are within a five minute walk from the cinema.
Local entertainment/shopping complexes of interest would include the Castle Quay Shopping Centre which includes a number of High Street retailers under one roof. Woolworths, Debenhams, HMV, and Marks & Spencers to name a few.
The local sports centre includes all the usual facilities as well as a large indoor swimming pool and is situated just behind the Castle Quay Shopping Centre.

The nearest cash dispenser is directly opposite the cinema and accepts all the usual cards. All major banks and building societies are located on the high street and are just a 5 minute walk from the cinema.

Disabled Facilities Screen 1 has wheelchair access with space for four chairs. There is a chair lift available to wheelchair users for entrance into our screen 1.In the event of requiring the use of the chair lift our staff are happy to help whenever necessary. Screens 1 & 2 ,box office & retail areas are fitted with induction loops for the hard of hearing. Headsets are available upon request for the screen with an infra-red hearing loop. Screen 1 plays in Digital Surround Sound & Screen 2 plays in Dolby SR Surround Sound. In addition Screen 1 has an audio description facility and whenever possible on a weekly basis at least one complete performance of our main film is shown with subtitles for the hearing impaired.

Education Many current and forthcoming film releases have a strong relevance to subjects covered in the national curriculum, provoking discussion and debate in an inspirational way. With media and communication becoming ever-popular choices, the cinema can provide a useful and relevant study aid for further and higher education.
