Location
We are located on Horsefair on the west side of the town centre overlooking the famous Banbury Cross.
Council-run pay and display car parking is available at the front of the cinema. There are also a number of other pay and display car parks nearby.
Public Transport
The area is well served by railway connections. Generally two trains per hour run between Bicester and Banbury. In addition, Banbury is a main line station served by London and Birmingham trains. Trains also stop at Oxford, Warwick and Leamington Spa.
The town is served by a number of bus routes operating services between local towns and villages in the North Oxfordshire area. For more information call Stagecoach on 01295 253451
Driving Directions
From the North and South Banbury can be found off Junction 11 of the M40 Motorway. From the exit continue straight until reaching the third roundabout. At that point you will see a large Tesco straight ahead. Take the first exit, carry straight on and through the next set of traffic lights. Shortly afterward you will see the Whately Hall Hotel on your right with the cinema directly next door.
Council-run pay and display car parking is available at the front of the cinema. There are also a number of other pay and display car parks nearby.
Local Facilities
Local restaurants include Pizza Express, various Chinese, Thai & Indian restaurants and a number of pubs including JD Wetherspoons. All are within a five minute walk from the cinema.
Local entertainment/shopping complexes of interest would include the Castle Quay Shopping Centre which includes a number of High Street retailers under one roof.
The local sports centre includes all the usual facilities as well as a large indoor swimming pool and is situated just behind the Castle Quay Shopping Centre.
The nearest cash dispenser is directly opposite the cinema and accepts all the usual cards. All major banks and building societies are located on the high street and are just a 5 minute walk from the cinema.
Disabled Facilities
There is a ramped entrance to the foyer with an automatic door. All tills are fitted with induction loops for the hard of hearing. There is a lowered till point a lowered ticket machine in the foyer where wheelchair users can purchase or pick up tickets.
Screen 1 has wheelchair access via a chair lift and space for six wheelchairs, and seats for accompanying carers. There are 6 steps to the screen entrance. Please ask a member of staff if you require use of the lift. The disabled toilet is situated at the bottom right hand side of Screen 1.
Screen 2, due to the nature of our building does not have wheelchair access. There are 40 steps to the screen entrance.
Both screens are fitted with digital surround sound, have induction loops and infa-red hearing loops for the hard of hearing. Headsets for infa-red/audio description are available on request. Subtitling facilities are also available on certain performances each week in either screen.

There are several disabled parking bays at the front of the cinema for blue badge holders. Please be advised that these are charged for at the same rate as the pay and display car park run by Cherwell District Council.

Cinema Info
The Odeon cinema Banbury is a traditional twin screen cinema situated directly adjacent to the Banbury Cross roundabout and next door to the Whateley Hall Hotel. Pay and display car parking is available at the front of the cinema with a 2 hour limit. However these are free from restrictions after 6pm in the evening. In addition to our standard shows, there are Senior Screen presentations every Wednesday morning at 10.30am, and Movie Mob presentations every Saturday morning from 9.30am, each priced at just £2.50.
