What's the plot?
In ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’, the fifth film in the series, Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-Virus continues to hold its deadly grip on planet Earth’s population.


Alice (Milla Jovovich) finds herself in the heart of Umbrella’s secret headquarters. Armed with secrets about her mysterious past that are hidden there, she embarks on an epic quest to hunt down the people responsible for the deadly virus that takes her around the world and deep into her own soul.


‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ also stars Sienna Guillory (‘Love Actually’) and Michelle Rodriguez (‘Avatar’).

I am a massive fan of the Resident Evil series of films, but this just felt to me as if it was made to either make money or to fill a space before the next instalment.

The action and fighting is top notch, it doesn't look like cgi, the explosions and fight scene look very real. There is not much of a story but it brings some familiar faces back into the mix.

Looking forward to the next very much.

This is the best film I have seen in the cinema in years. All though most films that are purely action throughout the entire film are normally boring, predictable and have no plot, this is the complete opposite. Defiantly a male film however. It well worth the extra money for IMAX.

Its not much like the games any more, but I suppose even the first wasn't really. If you are after some living dead carnage and some kick-ass 3D action, then go see this film. If you enjoyed the first 4 films, which I did, then you will probably like this film. Story is getting a bit skewed, but they just about pull it off.
