Its a good story and great effects with great actors, but I wouldn't jump with joy when it comes out on Blu-ray....maybe buy it when its on offer? watching it once is enough....or it could be that I was just distracted as my little brother couldn't sit still?

Apalling Film, Not Worth The Money

+----

Reviewer: Not impressed
Date: 01/04/2013

Sorry, but I was actually bored out of my skull and after having sat watching The Wizard Of Oz and The Return Of Oz the day prior had been quite excited to see this.

The film had acting poor enough to be classified as a tiny tots film and the few scenes that were dramatic enough to classify it as an adult movie, such as people being randomly smashed through windows in a violent manner, just reminded me of Eastenders and shocked me as to what kids these days were viewing.
(That's not me being wet, you have to see the film to know what I'm talking about - it was more a psychological acid trip of some kind than a good movie and since when did Oz turn into Wonderland?)

I left with a headache and bad mood, and now wish that I had bought an unlimited card or paid for this film with free 800 points instead of my own money.

I still don't know what it was supposed to be about and I was left more confused than when I first went in! Seems to me that the director just cast a bunch of famous people and threw them in at the deep end, none of them seemed to be able to act and what was with the random Zach guy playing the monkey? Really?
