What's the plot?
Based on the Cornish fairytale, Jack the Giant Slayer is a fantasy-adventure film that tells the story of an ancient war thats reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway to a world inhabited by a fearsome race of giants.

Unleashed on the planet for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young Jack into the battle of his life to stop them.

Jack the Giant Slayer stars Nicholas Hoult (X Men: First Class) and Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting).

fantastic. i really enjoyed this. well made yet not taking itself to seriously.

Family of 4 ages 39, 42, 17 & 10 went to watch this, enjoyed it very much. Acting was very good, story quite original - definatley recommend :0)

We really enjoyed this,good action even Ewan Macgregor English accent grew on you .It was good it was not too Disneyfied and had a lot of British actors in it too.
