What's the plot?
Based on the Cornish fairytale, Jack the Giant Slayer is a fantasy-adventure film that tells the story of an ancient war thats reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway to a world inhabited by a fearsome race of giants.

Unleashed on the planet for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young Jack into the battle of his life to stop them.

Jack the Giant Slayer stars Nicholas Hoult (X Men: First Class) and Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting).

This film was not as bad as i thought is was going to be as after being 10mins into it nothing seemed to have happend however this soon changed.
This movie is well worth a watch even if there is something else on at the movies you arnt sure about this will not leave you thinking i wonder what if etc as all the answers are here.
