An absolute perfect film - the storyline, acting, direction, screenplay, music, setting, costumes...
This film isn't fantastic because of the leading role - although she is perfect - all the other actors play their roles to the same high standards.
I say to anyone who thinks they will not enjoy a film with sub-titles, go and see this and prove yourselves wrong.
Other film makers should watch this film to see what a great film is.
Watch this film and be taken on a wonderful journey experiencing all possible emotions.

A stunning cinematic experience. Please, please, don't miss this marvellous movie and don't be deterred by the presence of sub titles. Watch French actress Marion Cotillar excell as the legendary Piaf, a performance so moving that she must be a certainty for an Oscar nomination. My favourite film of 2007 and in my top five of all time great movies.

Absolutely the best movie I have seen for some years. Brilliant acting, gripping plot, beautiful portrayal of such a pained life accompanied by the so-moving sounds of Edith's voice.
Thank you movie makers
