If you like your horror with a bit more than just gore, this is the film for you.

I much preferred it to 'Cloverfield' it was more like '28 days later' and 'dawn of the dead' in a confined space.

Don't be put off by the subtitles, this is a classic.

I found the film hard to watch because it feels like a bad B movie i found the plot not at the standered of most top releases & not a horror in the sense of making you jump out of you skin but if you liked cloverfield you will like this film too or if you like films like saw & dawn of the dead give this film amiss

I recently watched REC after hearing how scary it allegedly had been, to be unfortunately dissapointed. Basing the film on a similar theme to 28 days later and 28 weeks later; the film used a limited area though for the idea of more suspense and horror. Unfortunately poor effects and and a predictable story showed people when faced with death still caring to still record(predictably) whats happening instead of save their lives.

The film was not a new idea sadly and though the camera action added some suspense this was limited. If your looking for something un-original and with and a cam job this will be great for you unfortunately it lacked the bite of 28 days later which it mimicks.
