Wow, a lot of people have given this a poor rating. I actually found it quite funny, but I guess you need a certain type of humor to appreciate it.
Sure, it's not going to win any comady awards, the jokes aren't great and it's basically ripping off it's story from 300 (But it is a parody, after all). But some of the bits were quite funny and it had me laughing a few times.
Maybe not one to spend cinema money to go an see, but certainly worth the DVD when it comes out.
This I think is the worst film I have seen at the cinema. The average age in our cinema was about 13, and the whole way through there werent so much as grunts at the "funny" bits. I went to see this with my friend and I booked it and I felt embaressed that it was so rubbish. Honestly, if you are wondering what to go and see thats the same rating choose 21 or 10,000 BC and dont waste so much money because like me youll come out kicking yourself.
Very funny parody, though with a couple of low points, but overall more historically accurate regarding Spartans sexual behaviour and a bearded Xerxes...
