What´s the plot?
A romantic comedy for the 21st century.
'Priceless' is the story of Jean (Gad Elmaleh), a shy young bartender who is mistaken for a millionaire by a beautiful, scheming opportunist named Irene (Audrey Tautou). When Irene discovers his true identity, she abandons him, only to find that a love-struck Jean has no intention of letting her get away.
Jean's comical attempts to gain her affections gradually evolve into setting himself up as a gigolo at a luxury hotel, until Irene finally starts to warm to her persistent, persuasive suitor.

The film is genius. Laugh out loud funny, beatifully paced, written, directed and acted. It`s true that Audrey is as much Hepburn as Tautou but i`m more than fine with that. Longer than expected at 2 hours not a minute of it was wasted -unlike SATC which is 30 minutes too long. Whoever didn`t know it was in French has only themselves to blame, like the people who didn`t know Sweeney Todd was a musical!!! Is it so bad to hear another language especially when it`s translated, you might even learn something. Loved this film!

absolutley brilliant....great humorous moments, which had the audience laughing out loud.
dont let the fact that it is in French and subtitled put you off,
i only wish more 'mainstream' movies were as good as this...
