A failing football team, a national hero and a female journalist.
‘Leatherheads’ stars George Clooney as ‘Dodge’ Connelly, a football star in a failing team, but when his teams season is considered over due to lack of funds, he has a plan. He enlists national war hero and football star Carter Rutherford (John Krasniski) to help, but his intentions come under the close scrutiny of sharp tongued journalist Lexie Littleton (Renee Zellwegger).
Soon both men begin to fight for the attention of Lexie and the public.
‘Leatherheads’ provides sharp wit, great comedy and romance for all to enjoy. If you liked ‘Slap Shot’ you/’ll love ‘Leatherheads’.

Went to see this film because I'm a huge fan of George, but not even he saved this film - not very funny and actually boring in some places. A dull history lesson in the evolution of the rules of American Football. The plot was terrible - it was impossible to be interested in the conclusion of the film or in any of the characters.
