Two brothers and one vision.
‘My Brother is an Only Child’ is a tale of Italy’s political polarisation during the 1960s and 1970s told through the eyes of two brothers, Manrico and Accio. Manrico is a charming, charismatic and political thinker who becomes the local communist party’s leader, whilst Accio, the more rebellious brother makes waves in the local fascist party. Sibling rivalry and political ideologies cause a massive rift between the brothers in what was a common tale of a divided Italy in that era.
