Tadanobu Asano, Honglei Sun, Khulan Chuluun
What´s the plot?

‘Mongol’ is the biopic of Ghengis Khan.

‘Mongol’ delves into the dramatic and harrowing early years of the ruler who was born as Temudgin in 1162. As it follows Temudgin from his perilous childhood to the battle that sealed his destiny, the film paints a multidimensional portrait of the future conqueror, revealing him not as the evil brute of hoary stereotype, but as an inspiring, fearless and visionary leader.

‘Mongol’ shows us the making of an extraordinary man, and the foundation on which so much of his greatness rested: his relationship with his wife, Borte, his lifelong love and most trusted advisor.

If you liked ‘The Last Samurai’, you’ll love ‘Mongol’.

Reviewer: Finally a Good Movie about Ghengis Khan
Date: 15/06/2008

Absolutely stunning

Well worth it

the first movie to give the great Khan an emotional anchor not to show him as someone who is conquering the world - which he did but he became the man he is known in history

I would definitely ask everyone who wants to know about History to go see this movie as you will walk out with History from a fresh horizon
