What´s the plot?
Chilling thriller based on a true story, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Angelina Jolie.

In Los Angeles in 1928, Christine Collins’ son went missing. But when he was found, Christine began to question if this child really was her son. This film tells the story of her search for answers as she challenges the authorities to find out what really happened to him.

This is a FANTASTIC film, which had us gripped. I am not normally an Angelina Jolie fan, but she was wonderful in this film. Don't forget your hankie....

I'm shocked that 7 people had it in them to rate this movie 'poor'. What could they find possibly horrible about this movie? I'm sure the directors are really sorry that they couldn't give some people a typical happy ending that they'd have wanted to see but this has to be one of the best movies based on true facts that I've ever seen. In fact, this movie got me so interested in finding out about the real story that I spent hours reading up what really happened and felt sorry for the real Mrs Collins.

And to people who are commenting on the 'stiff' acting by Jolie, please note that this movie was set at a time where people were generally like that. You can't expect her to bawl and throw fits.

Agree with others here - an excellent film in terms of Angelina's acting and the general recreation of the late 20s but the Mrs and i were quite vexed by 'distortion of justice'. Go see but be prepared for some sadness. (We also saw the Reader to compare the 'best actress' nominations; the decision, Kate or Angelina could have gone either way)
