What's the plot?
Friday the 13th is rebooted for 2009, and now it’s scarier than ever.

A lone traveller heads to the woods of Crystal Lake in search of his missing sister. There he hooks up with a group of college kids, who are planning on a weekend of partying in the woods. But their fun soon turns into a nightmare, when they find themselves face to face with an infamous killer… Jason Voorhees.

the death scenes are not particularly imaginative, the characters are mostly idiots for whom it is hard to care for. Jason isn't explored much more then his very small back story about drowning and voodoo which is alright but hard to get into. so he drowned while not been watched? why does he continue killing??? the thing about him being unstoppable isn't used much which in one way is good but in another sense detracts from what Jason is all about.
If you wanna see a hard to kill killer go for Halloween, Michael Myers is far scarier.
this film will make you jump a few times but will leave you unsatisfied and rather bored. 13 was clearly unlucky on this occasion.

I was really looking forward to this film but when I went to see it on opening night I was quite disappointed. it wasnt frightening or a 'jumpy' film for the best part of it. It was built up to be more than it was, I enjoyed it but wont make a point of watching it again

Well, im not really into gorey films much, but my friend persuaded me to go and see this, i thought it was going to be really good, but to be honest it was your standard, some american kids go into the woods.. you'll never guess what... they get killed! To be honest no real amazing actors in this film, some pretty girls but thats the only possitive thing i could possibly say about this film. Its your typical '' the wrong turn'' kinda film. No real story line either. Sorry guys, but this wasnt for me...
