A fantastic, fantasy adventure, ‘Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant’, tells the story of Darren, an ordinary teenager living in an ordinary suburban neighbourhood. However, things begin to change for Darren when a vampire named Larten Crepsley gets his teeth into him.
Now a member of the undead, Darren joins the Cirque Du Freak, a touring freak show filled with monstrous creatures, and unwittingly breaks a 200-year truce between two warring factions of vampires. Suddenly, the now not so ordinary teenager, has to somehow stop the bloodthirsty creatures from feasting on what’s left of his humanity.

Strange..
Good but very familiar
If, like me, you've had a long-standing interest in the vampire/horror genres, you'll spend half this film noticing nods to previous work. Two very obvious references are 'My Best Friend's A Vampire' (with Robert Sean Leonard) and the Alice Cooper graphic Novel 'The Last Temptation'. I'm rather looking forward to what they do with the rest of the series.
wasnt worth it !
