1 word review - Rubbish
It wasn't that bad!
After seeing this I can understand those reviewers who gave this a one star. This was a complex film that becomes too clever for it's own good of who is double crossing who.
With the narrative so disjointed I could discern very little of the plot when it kept going back in time though I knew about the part about wanting to make money from the formula.
There were parts I was getting bored and it is a hard slog but the acting and chemistry between Owen and Roberts kept me watching just. It was good acting and there were interesting moments of chemistry which came from a decent script which in parts was clever but other times when it came to the plot, not.
When the two were playing games with each other there were some moments of comic relief as Owen and Roberts plays a professional detachment at times when sparring with each other.
Though the acting and chemistry were good enough, it could have been better, but this film wasn't bad and even though the plot falls flat of itself. I think it's worth seeing for the acting.
