What´s the plot?
From Walt Disney Pictures comes this animated feature by acclaimed director Hayao Miyazaki, featuring the voices of Cate Blanchett, Noah Cyrus, Matt Damon and Liam Neeson.

‘Ponyo’ tells the story of a friendship between a five-year-old boy and a goldfish princess, Ponyo, who yearns to be human.

However, when Ponyo gets her wish, it soon starts to upset the world’s mystical balance. Now, to put things right, they must seek help from the greatest powers in the ocean.

This was such a great film. It was similar in style to totoro , although it wasn't as good as some of the other studio ghibli films. My friends really hated the film , but I think anyone who is a fan of studio ghibli already will really like this film.

I took my 4 year old sister to see this and she loved it and as a 22 year old male I did as well. It is a great film and more beautiful than any other piece of animation outside of the Studio's work.

The story is heartwarming and easy to follow for the young ones but with enough story to keep the older generations entertained.

Miyazaki is a genius.....this film is amazing, characters and story line are sweet but still has that out there ideas from ghibli team.
hooked from start to finish, just didnt want it to end.
one of the best films ive seen in ages. A must for everyone.
