Ten years later Clyde kills the murderer, and warns Nick that all the people involved in the trial will also die.
As Clyde arranges the gruesome assassinations of his high profile targets, Nick must race against time to save his own family and outwit the mastermind sociopath who somehow always remains one step ahead.
If you liked ‘Collateral’ and ‘The Last House on the Left’, you’ll love ‘Law Abiding Citizen’.

Unfulfilled promise
Revenge and the failings of a legal system only as strong as its weakest link are the interesting motives here, and there is a lot of material that is left untouched. This could have been a very disturbing movie about how we fail as a society, but ends up as typical Hollywood 'trash' - by all means watchable, but very much a run of the mill movie. If Jamie Foxx hadn't starred (well, he stares rather than stars) in this one, would it ever have made it to the cinema screen? While Foxx has so much more to offer than here, Gerard Butler starts out well but can't quite keep it up throughout the movie. Colm Meaney is solid but unspectacular, he plays this kind of role too often. Watch it, don't expect to be blown away :-)
brilliant
