An intelligent film, not a lot of action, and only two actors. Great thought provoking storyline. My son said it was the best scifi film he had seen for a long time.
Refreshing low budget scifi

I really didn't know what to expect, except that it only cost 5million to make and David Bowie's son made it. Even with the miniscule budget and space 1999 effects I found this story engrossing and heart rending. Sam Rockwell's performance was, as ever, completely believeable, portraying the beginnings of decent into madness caused by loneliness and then confusion as the world as he knows it begins to unravel. I found Kevin Spacey's voice a little insipid but I thought the split loyalties of Gerty was an interesting idea. Overall a well drawn, thought provoking story that stays with you after you've walked out of the multiplex.
