Who´s in it?
What´s the plot?
The Colony is the most exclusive club in the world, basically a small room above a restaurant in London's SOHO. Behind these closed doors artists from Francis Bacon to Damien Hirst and Tracy Emin, and bands such as The Clash and David Bowie could find a home from home and indulge in excessive bohemian behavior. This is an intimate portrait of the club and it's members. Unique - shot in wide screen black and white and with a soundtrack of predominantly The Clas, it is a rare glimpse of underground bohemian London. Sadly, The Colony closed it's doors for the last time in December 2008. The Notting Hill Film festival is proud to present the UK premiere of The Colony.
