What´s the plot?
‘Fish Tank’ tells the story of Mia (Katie Jarvis), a difficult 15-year-old who is constantly getting in trouble and now finds herself excluded from school and ostracized by her friends. When a mysterious stranger, Connor (Michael Fassbender), is brought home by Mia’s mother (Kierston Wareing), he promises to change everything and bring some love into their lives.

If you liked ‘Red Road’ and ‘This is England’, you’ll love ‘Fish Tank’.

I saw this movie yesterday and left disappointed.
I am always excited by the idea of watching a low budget indie drama as usually they leave you feeling raw or moved, like let's say a film like "Dead Man Shoes".
This film didn't reach my high standards and i thought the young actress was given a wooden part, there were no high dramatic points, rather FLAT paced storyline.
Don't expect a love story with high stakes either, unfortunately.
Good but by far NOT memorable.
