What´s the plot?

‘Real Steel’, a white-knuckle action ride set in the near-future, introduces Charlie Kenton - a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over from human fighters.

In a boxing world where robots rule the ring, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son to build and train a championship contender. ‘Real Steel’ gets us a ringside seat as the stakes in the no-holds-barred arena are raised, and Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

A well used but winning formula for this feel good film. The title above says evereything you need to know about it.

Probably more suited to a younger audiance but it's not bad.

Awesome!!

Amazing film, best I've seen in a while!! The plot isn't just about fighting robots, it is also is about a young guy and his son and their relationship together. It is a really brilliant film to look at, with perfect CGI, camera angles and colouring!

Hugh Jackman, as always, is amazing and plays his part as the Charlie, the father brilliantly!! and Dakota Goyo, who plays Max, his son, plays him incredibly, he is an awesome actor for his age, he's awesome.

The film is not your typical cliché Hollywood, it has that bit more, it has a sparkle that a lot of films in recent years haven't had.

You will find yourself secretly cheering for their Robot, Atom, in the final scene. AWESOME!! Go see it ;)

A fantastic film which brought back memories of the 'Bisher and Basher' boxing game of the seventies but of course using all of the CGI technology of the 21st century. Me and the kids were totally entertained from start to finish so have no hesitation in recommending this film and rating it very highly. Go and see it before it is too late.
