Based on Stieg Larsson's best-selling novel, 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' is the first in a trilogy of films starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, from legendary director David Fincher.

'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' tells the tale of Mikael Blomkvist's first encounter with punk hacker Lisbeth Salander, as he is drawn into the investigation of an unsolved murder.

Better than the original, easier to follow and cinematography improved. The opening titles alone are worth paying money to see and would rate them as 5star get there on time to see them in full.

Excellent film.
A bit graphic at times.

This was a more than enjoyable thriller which touches on Sweden's murky past and is not for the squeamish. The story jumps about a bit until DC and RM meet but great performances from the two leads; in fact the film has a pretty impressive cast list. Beautiful locations and an original storyline make it well worth watching.
