'War Horse' begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets - British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter - before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.

The story is touching that I cried for for the friendship between Joey and the black gorgeous horse (sorry I forgot the name), also the plot is complete and background is amazing especially for the scene when they go home! This is one of my favourite movie in my life already.

Very Good film, a real emotional Epic! The horses acting is amazing, Joey & Topthorn! Great 1st Half with lovely scenery and cosy farms and barns / then its all action in the 2nd Half. Great Film, very pleased I have seen it, although I don;t think I could sit through it again.

Loved this film from start to finish. Brilliant acting, lovely scenery and a good story line. Definately need you tissues though. Some harrowing scenes. Felt like i had been on an emotional rollar coaster ride by the end of it. I embarrassed my teenaged sons by crying "even through the credits" - my youngest reported. Would watch again and again. Timeless. Deserves some oscars. Spielberg at his best.
