One of the best films of the year.
Some might think it boring as there wasn't masses of action but all of our party (Youngest 12 Oldest 80) enjoyed the film immensely.

Nice thoughtful film.

Loved it.

Post-WWI Paris is beautifully and romantically reimagined in this Scorsese film. Hugo lives alone in a train station - so long as he maintains the clocks, his hideout is safe, but he is alone and in need of friends and, above all, family.

Reminiscent of French films such as Amelie, Delicatessen and Monsieur Hulot, Hugo also pays homage to the earliest days of film mkaing.

Well worth seeing.
