What's the plot?
Sci-fi thriller ‘The Hunger Games’, from director Gary Ross (Seabiscuit, Pleasantville) takes us to a future North America where deadly gladiatorial combat has become an annual TV sensation.

Every year, a teenage boy and girl are selected to compete in a fight to the death with other contenders. When Katniss takes her younger sister’s place for the forthcoming match, only training from a past champion and her instinct for survival can help her return home victorious.

I love the Hunger Games book series and the film was as I expected it! however the only down fall was I went with people who had not read the books and had trouble understanding it all fully - as the film misses out crucial details for some things!
Having said that, it was still an enjoyable film and have seen again hundreds of times!
amazing!

I went to see this film after all the hype in the media and wanted to see what if anything I was missing. The beginning of the film the plot was a bit slow but as the film progressed I found myself actually rooting for Primrose (Jennifer Lawrence)hoping she'd survive. I hadn't read any of the books previously so wasn't sure what to expect but in a way was pleasantly surprised.

This is the best film i've ever seen!!!
