What's the plot?
The classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale is given a dark twist by director Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow) in 'Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters', a fantasy horror that takes up the story 15 years after the pair escaped their forest prison.

This movie is excellent for someone who loves gruesome films. It has a lot of scenes that has violence in which i think is deemed as things you would probably see in an 18 rated movie, not a 15. The nudity even backs up this point as i would usually see it in an 18. The storyline and the plot was good and i found the guns used as brilliant. The effects were great, even better in 3D and i even loved Edward the troll! Worth going to see in 3D

This film was good, not fantastic, but good enough that after it you could safely say you enjoyed watching the action, the actors and the story. It was quite gruesome however (Should not have been rated Fifteen and the effects were very CGI) and it did not contain much of a plot besides the fact that Hansel and Gretel had a mission to hunt a grand witch who was terrorizing the town. The actors did a brilliant job however and the audience even loved the Troll!

If you enjoy light-hearted but action-filled movies, then this is the one for you!
