Banal & Boring

+----

Reviewer: Silver Surfer
Date: 09/02/2012

I cannot see why reviewers like this film so much. The plot is banal - man loses job due to technological advances, woman feels sorry for him. The actors are average - mostly hamming it up, as was called for in silent movies. The direction is boring - we both fell asleep at times! The only redeeming feature was the dog who was cute and knew a few tricks. I can think of a dozen original silents which were far superior to this rubbish.

Reviewer: Team of Mum and Daughter
Date: 02/02/2012

Took my Mum to see this yesterday and we both loved it - the whole thing was wonderful and the actors - and I include the dog here - were so well cast that we couldn't fault anything. More of the same please!
