This film was pretty good, and played a nice twist on the elusive life of Edgar Allan Poe. It portrayed late 19th century East Coast America well, and it was a nice backdrop to the gothic feel of Poe's stories. They did a good job of adapting the main themes of his stories into a serial killer hunt.
It moves a little slow at times, but there is enough to keep you interested, and its plot is not predictable, where a lot of these horror-esque crime thrillers are.
