This film succeeded in entertaining us. We'd seen some rather disappointing reviews but actually it was perfectly OK and we came away with a plot to discuss and debate in some detail. Yes, some of the scifi aspects were a little derivative and the smarter members of the audience could figure it all out after 5 minutes. It still didn't detract from a good visual yarn.

Sadly not one of Cruise's best. The plot is confusing and when you do finally get to understand the plot then the film has little to commend it.
