What's the plot?
The sequel to the 2008 hit ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth’, 3D adventure ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ follows young Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson) on his quest to find the source of a coded message received from an incredible island that shouldn’t exist.

Together with his stepfather, a helicopter pilot and his strong-willed daughter they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before the island and its treasures are buried forever.

‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ also stars Dwayne Johnson and Michael Caine.

enjoyable from the start,some really thought out twist not what i expected,suitable for older and younger children,would go and see again,a must see for any one with children,i would recommend to any one who was looking for a good adventure film that will make you smile.

WOW! Josh HUtcherson is an AMAZING actor, and this move proves it all. It is NOT just a kids' movie, it is a wonderful adventure for every age! i reccommend to EVERYONE!

this film was watchable but the only really convincing actors were Josh Hutcherson (Shaun) and Michael Caine (his Grandfather) as the other actors only provided comedy support, which the film didn't need as the punch lines were as naff as some of the special effects. If you do decide to watch this film, watch it in 3-D and with children under the age of ten otherwise it isn't worth watching, but i must say it is a big improvement to the first one.
