A real treat for musical theatre fans – the Tony award-winning musical, Sondheim’s Company, is screening in cinemas worldwide on 15 March. This New York Philharmonic concert production, recorded live at the Avery Fisher Hall, has an all-star cast with some of the hottest names from American stage and TV. A must–see musical theatre event, it will be followed by a LIVE Q&A with Emmy Award–winning producer Ellen Krass which includes a pre-recorded intro from Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men).
Sondheim’s Company is the bittersweet story of Robert – a single man unable to commit fully to a steady relationship, let alone marriage – the five married couples who are his best friends, and his three girlfriends. Staged as a series of vignettes linked by a celebration for Robert’s 35th birthday, the musical throws a comic spotlight on the eternal issues faced by people in relationships.
On the 18th March there will be encore screenings at selected sites.
Change to published programme: The Live Q&A Event will now feature Ellen Krass with a pre-recorded intro from Jon Cryer.

The West of England Theatre Organ Society presents an organ concert by Nigel Ogden at ODEON Weston-super-Mare. The ODEON cinema at Weston-super-Mare houses the only Compton theatre pipe organ in an ODEON cinema outside London and is one of only two working theatre organs left in the country still performing in their original location in commercially operating cinemas.
