Slow moving,Complex, violent, visually gorgous & VERY original, KILLING THEM SOFTLY is a thinking mans gangster movie which deserves nothing more then complete attention.Like 2011's DRIVE, this film WILL spilt people down the down the middle i.e some will like it,some wont & thats fine, but I hope TRUE fans of cinema & of course 70's cinema i.e FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE, Charlie Varrick etc, will see this movie for what it is & not what was put out on the trailers:(
