This is one of the most inexcusably banal films I've seen for a while. How it's managed a 'fantastic' rating generally beats me. It could have been SO much better with the cast etc. But it is clear to me that this was purely a money making exercise. Some of the lines and situations are funny but could have been SO much funnier had someone cared a bit more. Director/producer SHAME ON YOU!

Enjoyment depends on your ability to relate your lifes' experience to the subject of this movie (finding a life partner/relationship that works for both of you, beyond superficial stuff that is). It either works for you or doesn't - a marmite movie. With a shallow plot, forgettable acting, it presents a series of one liners & situations to represent the pains of seeking contentment in being with another person. If you relate, you'll laugh. Otherwise you'll say "what a load of ribbish". Suits middle age singletons/unmarried (or worried about their marriage) I suggest. Try it if you're 30-50 years old, or unmarried or thinking about separation, or frustrated at being on your own, or all of these! You'll probably like it.

WHAT A LOAD OF ABSOLUTE RUBBISH

Possibly one of the lamest films I've ever seen. Both my friend and I who saw it together thought it was probably one of the worst films we've ever seen, and we both love a good "chick flick". Stupid plot line, rubbish ending. Rose Byrne is beautiful but possibly one of least likely, most annoying characters in memory in this film. A few funny one-liners but trust me, save your money and wait for it to appear on TV.
