I was very sceptical at first going with my partner as she has seen the play but it was amazing, loved every minute of it!

They make a real song and dance over the French Revolution!

Crowe & Jackman produce good performances but as the story gets interesting the lengthy songs slow the pattern of film down. You just want them to get to the point!

Having said that Ali G is great & some of the songs are simply beautiful and keep your attention.

Well worth a watch

Before I even went to see this film all my friends were telling me how amazing it was and they would sing i dreamed a dream every day. So i thought id go see this film. Throughout the film I was constantly bored through the long songs. I have never been so bored before in a movie. Great actors but it is a long story with songs in. So if your not a big fan of opera or posh songs this ain't for you. Les Miserables isn't my cup of tea but I wouldn't mind buying I dreamed a dream song.
