Odeon has release date wrong... it was 15 July 1993 when it was released in the UK. I was 8 i remember it well!

Awesome movie which can still make movies of today's CGI look bad.

Really looking forward to seeing it on the big screen again.

Spielberg has made many classic movies in his time. The one that made him was Jaws and has had lots of classics since then but one of his greatest and well known is Jurrasic Park where a wealthy entreprenuer (Richard Attenborough) brings back extinct dinsosaur for his new theme park and invites dinosaur experts (Sam Neil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum) including his two grandchildren out for the day.

Comes cue the dinosaurs escape and chaos reins as the humans run for there life. A great story exploring the theme man messing with nature and technology going wrong in hands of men, with excellent acting and very entertaining action sequences with moments of real tension and scariness and a good script to go with it.

I also like the representation of women in this who are not just damsel's in distress. Spielberg gives Laura Dern's character something to do in terms of physical attributes (a male associated characteristic)

This film is easily the best of the three and an ultimate Spielberg classic. Fantastic film!
