What´s the plot?
A Jules Vernes classic novel brought to life in digital 3D!
‘Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D’ stars Brendan Fraser (The Mummy films, Looney Tunes: Back in Action) as a science professor whose untraditional hypotheses have made him the laughing stock of the academic community. But on an expedition in Iceland, he and his nephew stumble upon a major discovery that launches them on a thrilling journey deep beneath the Earth’s surface, where they travel through never-before-seen worlds and encounter a variety of unusual creatures.
Directed by Academy Award-winning visual effects veteran Eric Brevig (Total Recall, Pearl Harbor), this promises to be as groundbreaking as ‘The Matrix’.

Hmmmm.. well i was dragged along to see this film anyway but my god was it silly. I mean it's supposed to be 3D with amazing effects and whatever else.. i beg to differ i only jumped vaguely once. Touching story line about the boy and his uncle etc but pretty ridiculous otherwise. I mean at one point they have just been through a waterfall or something then come out the other end dry... now that's what i call special effects......

Having seen earlier 3D films in which one had to wear paper trype two colour glasses, this one is so different. With proper dark glasses one did not realise the effect one was to see. From the very first credits of the film one was transported into and I mean into the film. It was magnificent and you felt part of the action. I can not recomend it enough. Look forward to more Digital 3D films. This makes true cinema for the future
