My wife and I both enjoyed this film from start to finish.
It's not an ABBA tribute/life story but it is a refreshingly good film with just the right amount of humour.

Well worth seeing.

I've just seen one of the first public screenings of Mamma Mia the movie. As a huge fan of the stage play, I was not disappointed. If anything, the movie is even better. It's joyous, uplifting and the scenery, absolutely perfect. It made me want to leap into the screen and join the cast in what was obviously a very fun movie to make. Who'd have thought these accomplished actors (Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Julie Walters etc.) would come together in such a harmonious way to make a musical? Sheer genius. The film should do very well indeed!
